his first dealership, Toyota of Orange, in 1985.

Villa Ford of Orange is under the new ownership of The David Wilson Automotive Group, one of the largest privately held auto groups in the country. The new owner has already started transforming the aging dealership into a state-of-the-art automotive facility in the heart of Orange.

David Wilson purchased his first dealership, Toyota of Orange, in 1985. Toyota of Orange has been the #1 dealership in Orange County since that time, and the organization has grown to include eight Toyota, three Lexus, three Honda, one Acura, two Ford, one Mazda and one Volkswagen dealerships – in California, Arizona, Las Vegas and Mexico.

General Manager Scott Wade, who has managed other profitable Ford dealerships in the past, is very excited to be part of the Wilson team. He promises that the new Giant Villa Ford will be completely remodeled – inside and out – and will include a world-class service department to better serve their customers.

“Within the next year, the service department will be all under one roof,” says Scott. “We’ve already completed a lot of deferred maintenance and have redone the exterior landscaping. Inside, we’ve created a more customer-friendly environment with TV screens, free Wi-Fi and Starbuck’s coffee. Our first priority is making our customers happy. Villa Ford has served this community well for many years, and we want to continue that tradition of customer satisfaction.”

To ease the transition to the new ownership, the dealership has retained a high percentage of former Villa Ford employees. “We kept every employee who wanted to start this journey with us,” says Scott. “We expanded our inventory of vehicles. And in our first month of business, July, we were the #1 dealer in the zone. We are already having a positive impact.”

Scott says he feels blessed to be given the opportunity to take the dealership to the next level. “David Wilson has always had an excellent reputation – at all his dealerships. I consider it a real honor to be able to run this newest dealership in the community where it all started. Villa Ford is just down the street from Toyota of Orange – the beginning of Wilson’s automotive success. We plan to continue the fine Wilson tradition of community involvement and consummate service to our customers.”
